I love(ed) my Phat PS3

Over 10 years ago, I was drunk at a bar at 1pm and paid $300 for a PS3 during a charity auction. At the time, I was a PS1/2 owner that I had fun installing modchips (lol) in, and a PSP tinkerer. I did not know much about the brand new PS3 at the time, I was just drunk and got caught up in bidding at a bar.

It has served me spectacularly over the years; before 3.55 and Kmeaw, as a new and favorite-est media server and the etc. that followed...

Sorry for the boring nostalgia...

Webman Mod and Multiman Artwork

does anyone know of a good, lump sum of artwork for these two? I'm wanting a large supply of them mostly for ps2 games. I have to keep resizing images at present which gets annoying. I have to find the title id first (gamefaqs), then find the accompanying artwork in the multiman's retro cover folder. apparently, multiman and webman mod have changed the dimensions of artwork from 260x300 to 140x200. maybe it's always been like the latter one? however, the ones I found were the former...

Updating my Extra disc psx/psp intaller collection

Hi everyone i have been lately updating my Extra custom disc with psp/psx pkg games with new stuff but want to make a change to the ICON2, right now im using this template

I was thinking changing all to some 3D case but having hard time find a good case template for psx and psp games, Does anyone know a good ones for both sistems that could share?

how did you all remove the offending profile? I reformatted my hdd (quick format), then deleted every profile (had no saves or trophies, so it didn't matter). I then checked the xregistry and the home folder for the account - both were clean of the original profiles.

Ok so first off I will provide as much information as necessary sorry if I add to much or not enough lol.
Ps3 - CechH01 recently professionally refurbished, reballed and reapplied thermal paste
Firmware - Rebug 4.81.2 D-Rex
Cobra 7.5 and the included version of webman mod are enabled
Using prep-ntfs 1.17 for my ntfs formated usb stick.

My first issue seems to be my call of duty world at war disk is recognized on the xmb but upon starting the game a black screen appears and the console...

Back Up Games to OFW PS3 (4GB FAT32 limit)

Hi Everyone,

I have a 4.82 OFW PS3 and I have used the Back Up inject method to move Journey to my PS3 and it works great. However, the other game has files over 4GB and the PS3 can only see FAT32 Hard Drives. How do you solve this?

I don't like the idea of keeping my backups on an external device and i'm quickly filling up my 1TB HDD so I was thinking of expanding my internal storage via the built in card readers.

For this purpose, does anyone know the max size storage devices they use? max SD card, compact flash or memory stick?

And will it support any modern tech like SDXC?

sMan 1.12 problem

Hi all,

I have installed the latest sMan ( my first time using this - not used webman before either ) and it seems to freeze The Last of Us which is on a USB hard drive.It gets to the loading page where it says "the last of us" at the bottom right and seems to be stuck there.
I want it only for loading the games quickly and will not use any of the web or FTP functions.
Also I cannot get it to start by pressing and holding the "Start" button.
I am using a xbox360 controller using the...

Hi Everyone,

My Ps3 SLIM model CECH-2103A minimum applicable firmware version is 3.20 OFW. I am currently on REBUG CFW 4.82.1 LITE, but I would like to check that old, otherOS original firmware for testing purposes. I have already checked PSDevwiki, but no download for this OFW file. Does anyone know why? And any idea, how can I get this OFW firmware? Thank you

It's seems a lame question, but I was unable to find a proper tutorial, help about remote play Ps3 content (games) on a non-$ony Vaio PC. Could you please suggest me, how to enable this remote play feature on a Dell E7440 Ultrabook? My SLIM Ps3 is running Rebug 4.81.2 CFW.
