Questions about going online with a CFW PS3 (Rebug 4.81) ? Safe ?

Hello,

I've been playing offline with a PS3 running rebug 4.81 for a few months now.

I have a few questions about online access

First : When i wanted to log into my psn account, i had a message telling me i need to update the console in order to have access to the psn.
I'm guessing this isn't recommended for a cfw console, right ?
Is there a way to modify the console to make it look as if it's running 4.82 ?

If that's possible and i have access to the psn and i can play online...

How to copy several .rif files at once with HAN tools?

Hello,

I have several DLC for a backup I have, all those being 100kb and each one have its own rap and rif files.
Inject the license via HAN tools will take painfull minutes!!! .rif files names are quite large so there should be an easier way.

Does anyone knows an easier way to copy several .rif files at once?

What I have done to sort it out is a Windows batch file that creates a very simple HTML page with the information given (at least 3 .rif names) and then, I access to it through the...

My CECH03 is idling from 64-72c CPU and 55-60 RSX this is on Rebug lite 4.82.

The console does feel very warm to touch this is rear area and top of PS3 console.

Hello, don't know if this is the right place to post this,but i wonder if someone has the wonderbook from the wonderbook book of spells game for the ps3. I whould need pictures of the pages for an experiment. I want ti see if the playstation eye whould recognize prinrinted out pages of the book. And how good whould it work. Thats basically it, if anyone can help, do a good deed and please do :). Thanks

Problem while CFW installation

Hi everybody!
I'm new at this ps3 hacking...the last 7 years I used my console just for four games^^
so please excuse me if I ask a noob thing.

My console: PS3 Slim CECH-250A Minimum Firmware 3.40 ->NOR

I tried version 1 and version 2 of the ps3xploit but both didn't solve it...

On my latest try I installed 4.82 OFW two times.
Then I set the nor_hdd from ps3xploit as homepage and cleared all browser data.
I followed the three steps successfully and restart my console.

I tried to install...

Hello everyone
I picked up a used Super slim Cech-4004C 500GB with MSX-001. The machines condition is unknown, meaning I don’t know what has been done to it besides the fact that the Seal wasn’t voided.the machine powers red after pressing turns green for 4 secs then turns off with no lights, if I press the button turns back red again.
Things I have tried:
-Resolder all Components in the PSU with more solder(Same results 3:80-4:00Secs then shut downs)
-Applying more pressure on Cell not...

I took my ps3 apart and accidently spilled tea on the hard drive,I cleaned and dryied the hard drive and when I turned my ps on and tried to open multiman I got bsod(black screen of death),I tried SEN enabler got bsod,tried psn patch the same!I cant do anything now!!Can someone tell me the solution or something to do to change it!!

HELP! Injected modified act.dat and rif into wrong acc.

Hey, so I accidentally installed the .rif and modified act.dat file from secondary acc to my main acc. Now no HAN game will run. I still have the original act.dat from the secondary acc. Is there any way to restore only the act file, or do i erase and re-create my primary acc. Or do i restore my system? Thanks in advace.
